Men’s Golf Round

“Men’s Day” has been around for over 20 years and has become an absolute highlight at the Baden Golf & Country Club. Every Wednesday up to 60 golfers meet up for fascinating tournaments which affect players’ handicaps.

New club players are particularly welcome to join in and play in flights with experienced golfers, and quickly get used to competition-level games. By doing this, many have been able to learn a great deal and improve their handicap markedly in a very short time.

Visitors are also very welcome to join in. Throughout the golf season we conduct 7 “Open Men’s Days”. The last few years have shown that our visitors are very interested in this event and frequently return for another such day. The entry fee includes the green fee and the prizes, as well as a delicious evening meal in our comfortable club restaurant where our restaurant team awaits you.

Our physically demanding tournaments are hallmarked by fairness, comradeship and conviviality. The solidarity of the Men’s Day group is fantastic and is supported every year on our traditional excursion together to a variety of golf regions. 2012 and 2013 we went to Austria. 2014 a group of 32 is going to Marienbad in the Czech Republic to play 5 interesting championships according to the rules of the Ryder Cup.

Even in the winter months we get together on Wednesdays from 11:00 to play a game – either golf or Skat or simply to sit together in the comfort of the club restaurant for a social round. Our highly professional green-keeping team also keep the players happy during the winter by keeping the golf course in tip-top condition.
